If you haven't done so already, call the Assisted Recovery Centers of Georgia and talk to them. I've been to hell and you are absolutely right about it being real. We don't have to be abused by a system that doesn't understand. I made the choice to take advantage of Assisted Recovery and the program they have to offer. I haven't had a drink since Feb. 9th. You can do this too. They really and truly understand and will give you TLC along with the resources you need to find your way back to the life you've been missing. You are not alone. I sought help from clergy, AA, doctors, and family, but ignorance runs rampant among non alcoholics. You don't need any of them to get sober. I did it. You can too.
